Postgraduate study

We offer over 20 master’s degrees including full-time, part-time and online study options. There is a real-world focus at Cass as our faculties maintain close links to industry. In fact, many of our academic staff have worked, or still work, in their specialist sectors.

Industry bodies accredit many of our courses, offering you a quick route into professional qualifications. Wider recognition of our teaching excellence helps you stand out in a competitive employment market – for example, our MSc in Management and MSc in Finance are both highly ranked by the Financial Times.

Our master’s are popular with students fresh from undergraduate study and with those already in work who want to develop their specialist knowledge. Whatever your background, we help you understand your subject from a deep academic perspective. We also make sure you know how to apply the advanced practical tools and key soft skills.

Research

Cass fosters thought leadership with impact, serving as an intellectual resource for London and our global Cass community. Our research shapes business practice, informs government policy and inspires learning.

The research Cass’s academics publish in leading journals is reflected in the education we deliver across our highly ranked degrees and is applied to the problems we solve for business clients. The Faculty of Finance is one of the largest and most respected in Europe. The Faculty of Management conducts research in all of the main areas of management, placing great emphasis on relating theories to real-world practice. The Faculty of Actuarial Science and Insurance is one of the world’s leading academic actuarial departments.

The Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 rated 84 per cent of the research submitted by Cass as within the top two categories of ‘world leading’ (4*) or ‘internationally excellent’ (3*). This placed Cass in the top six in the UK.
