Rolls-Royce is one of the world’s most iconic names and we’ve been at the cutting-edge of innovation for over a century. We have a long history of achieving extraordinary goals and our ambitions for the future of power and our changing company are no less bold. Join us and you can help transform the way we power, protect, and connect people across the globe - our business and commercial performance is vital to our success.

On this programme you can expect exceptional commercial exposure and business experience. You’ll build your skills in areas as diverse as IT, supply chain, programme management and delivery, HR, strategy, innovation, commercial and contracts.

What you'll do on the programme

You'll be aligned to Defence or Group IT and complete rotational 'gigs', moving from team to team and project to project. You’ll make decisions that impact various areas of our business, from strategy to innovation, customer management to procurement and more.

Thanks to a combination of digital learning and on-the-job training, you’ll build a wealth of new skills with the help of industry experts. People who are as invested in your success as you are.

This is your chance to gain a fantastic insight into a leading, global business. But it’s up to you to make the most of it. If you do well, you could be offered a place on our graduate programme - an accelerated programme designed to give our graduates the breadth of business experience that we know our future leaders will need for our business to thrive.

What you'll need to be successful

This programme is all about potential and we're open to degrees in any subject. What's most important to us is that you live and breathe our values (Trust, Integrity and Safety) and behaviours (Agile, Bold, Collaborative and Simple) and want to shape the future of our business.

You’ll need to be open-minded, curious, collaborative, and agile – someone who enjoys problem solving, and who recognises the power of teamwork.

You must be flexible about where you work and be open to travelling between locations if required. We see hybrid working as a way to balance and flex our time between the office, home, or another remote working place. We’ve committed everyone to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons on average three days per week, but specific arrangements will be dependent on your role and placement. We encourage and support flexible working arrangements where we can. This includes which days, how many hours and at what times you need to work.

At Rolls-Royce, we recruit interns based on merit, and regardless of age, disability, gender identity or expression, race/colour/nationality/ethnic or national origins, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by applicable legislation.
